“Jing is the middle name my grandma and all the girls on her side of the family have,” she explained. “I chose to have it in my name when I entered publishing partially because — even though my grandma is not with us anymore and passed away before I even started on this art journey — I view it as a small way to keep a part of her with me as I’m pursuing this dream.”
