In this episode, we see him singing a lullaby in an attempt to connect with Vermithor. Interestingly, the scene Rhaenyra gives Alicent the page also has her talking about how she doesn’t want to rule and would happily concede her position to a son of her father’s — it seems likely Alicent is reminding her of more than just their bond.
