You can vote if you have a misdemeanor on your record. You can vote if you served your time for your felony, completed your parole period, and have paid all your fees. More serious charges require you to appeal for your right to vote by the State Clemency Board. BUT it’s annoying because they don’t want you to vote!  There are approximately 1.4 MILLION Floridians who were stripped of their right to vote, so they’re counting on you to be lazy and not go through with it.  The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot by OCT. 29 by 5 p.m. You have to return your ballot by mail or drop it off at a polling center by Nov. 8 (Election Day) by 7 p.m. For more details and the fine print, go here.  Most important thing to remember: If you are in line to vote by 7 p.m. and the polling center closes, STAY. IN. LINE. You still have a right to vote. Make sure you have a valid photo ID with a signature.
