–Nothing on this list is less than 20 years old, so that excludes the more recent Disney hits like Frozen and Encanto (there’s one exception, but I think you’ll agree with it). –No Pixar movies, sequels, or half animation/half live-action movies like Mary Poppins. –Some aspects of these movies haven’t aged super well, from racist depictions of certain cultures to how young the Disney Princesses are supposed to be. A lot of those things are a product of the times, but it would be weird not to mention them in 2022. –It’s very, very hard to rank these movies, kind of like ranking my favorite childhood memories, so I welcome any disagreement you might have. TBH, the top 20 could be in any order as far as I’m concerned.
