You know, I’m a fan of the survival thriller genre. I think that when done right, it’s kind of the perfect blend of escapism, a thrill ride with edge-of-your-seat stakes when you do it right. And so I had never done anything in this genre before. I’m a fan of it. I was presented with the idea of a man and his family in peril on the run from a man-eating lion....

Some say it’s unfair to gatekeep and block certain people from participating. Still, not everyone that wants to be involved has done the research enough to respect the originators that created the event they’re also now benefitting from. At this competition, I saw white boys in durags and white girls emulating gang signs – not appreciation, but straight-up appropriation. “It’s not always about race” some like to say, but unfortunately it is....

Conocimos a Namor en Black Panther: Wakanda Forever y con solo una película pudimos notar que el líder de Talocan sí es bien rencoroso. Dejando de lado el hecho de que invadió, amenazó y secuestró a la princesa de Wakanda, como que se tomó muy personal la huida de Shuri y el rechazo a su propuesta de quemar el mundo juntos (aww, bien romántico, según él). Y si fue capaz de pintar un mural para recordar su legendaria batalla, la verdad yo sí me lo imagino escribiendo una canción tipo “un pececito como yo no está pa’ panteritas como tú-uuuuuu” en su sesión más personal con BZRP....
